This game is very easy. I am learning about the authors purpose. There are three words why the author writes  book. Persuade, Entertain and inform. Which is called pie for short.

Walt: explain the authors purpose.

This story is obviously a Cook Island story and this story maybe has an author that has the same feelings as the boy in the book called Terevaka. Terevaka is a very hard working boy. He does his chores everyday after school. The author purpose for this story is that the author  was probably brought up in the Cook Islands and was afraid to move to New Zealand.

I know because … King Krishna Deva Raya created an invention called the mobile garden. The mobile garden is a sort of cart that drives around with a garden on it. That way they can deliver the garden to another place. I thought that was clever.

Division game/Basic Facts

I am learning about division. My problem was 108÷12. The answer that I got is 9. This game is very easy. I don’t see any hard problems but I really enjoyed it. Next I would like to learn more about algebra.

Reflections-Basic Facts

I did well in my additions, subtractions multiplication and divisions. I need to work on my 6 and 7 digit place value and my <,>,=. Which I didn't do well on. I need to learn all my errors. I have to learn them a lot to get my marks up. I think my older brother will help me work on my errors. I hope to get all my marks correct in the next B.F. assessment. That will mean that I have improved in my incorrect answers.
